I am going to start a vegetarian lifestyle this weekend in order to improve my health and fitness levels.?
I recently found out that many forms of cancer and other diseases can dissappear by eliminating a lot of what i have been used to eating all my life. Now that i am the sole parent of my only child, i want to stick around in life as long as possible. I also have a family history of pancreatic cancer. I am hoping that this change enables me to achieve wellness and longevity. Any thought , suggestions and ideas from people “in the know” who have been long time vgetarians? Thank you so much.

I’d suggest hitting up your local Barnes and Noble… there are so many good books out there to help develop a balanced and extremely healthy vegetarian diet.
My main suggestion is to limit the number of processed veggie foods that are out there – faux meats are great every so often, but too much of them is certainly not good for you. Stick with as many whole foods as you can.
