what type of skim board should i get?

i am a semi-experienced rider. not experienced, but not a novice, and i need a new skimboard. i had a zap board and i liked it so i was leaning toward a zap wedge large, but i am open to any suggestions. i would like to be able to get a nice long ride in shallow water, but i would also like to be able to ride on waves and ride in deep water.
I would appreciate it if you could also post a link to the board and a good kick tail pad to get best answer will receive 10 points
