What kind of video camera is good for making movies professional style with a low budget?
I have a really good script I have written, but I'd like to try filming myself. you need a camera, but I do not know what kind to get; HDD, DVD, mini D, Digital 8, VHS … There are many to choose from. I would like my film to look as good as it can. Any advice?
I think it will be difficult to stay below 1000 dollars and get a piece of equipment you will be really happy. That being said I checked around and found a really rave review of the Panasonic AG-DVC20 on Amazon where also only clocks in at a little over $ 1200.
