I have many memories of my college days. You see astutely by sports, music and talk much in class, I managed to overcome the various social groups and in turn, the thugs that preyed on children of a particular group seemed to be me. What we do not have good memories though, is how I and my school was, from a bus stop, wet and windy, passing through a used car supermarket and get to my destination cold and hungry.
Living in a city outside of Cardiff has many benefits such as housing prices cheaper and be quiet, but my parents insisted that schools Local police were not much so I went every day in an hour long bus ride to and from Cardiff. The bus had seen two world wars and the birth of Christ, from the appearance and offered hard wooden seats, a cold draft and windows that in some way to condense in the summer and winter.
The banter on the bus was the only thing that kept us going I think, but there was always some problems, culminating with the bus driver to take photos of people, so it had evidence of shenanigans we get up to – at least that's what he said were for us.
As bad as the bus was, however, was painfully interminable bus stop early in the morning that got me most. From beneath the canvas jacket, scarf, gloves and ten jumpers, morning after morning I saw the drivers in their hot cars glide with grace, laughing at the radio as the rain lashed down on me. He promised that once was larger and had a job, I'd be driving a good car through puddles splashing school children myself.
Through condensate from windows on the bus there were spies of all types of vehicles throughout the endless travel and changed his mind a day of what I wanted. Then, on a day particularly cold and frost in looking at the used car supermarket every day that we've seen the curves of a car that had never seen, adorned with a plaque that had never seen – looked like an 'H', but it was Honda. The car was two-door coupe that was simply the best car I had been looking in the flesh.
Every day there car and this car would no identity magic wonder what planet he had come, and that once the ice had thawed covering someone really should realize that an alien spacecraft in its supermarkets. The car was a country known foreign non – Mars or Jupiter, but Korea – was the new Hyundai Coupe and the world was convulsed by Hyundai's audacity to make a good-looking car in its history when it was founded in a sea of gray, square-mobile retirees.
Fast forward ten years and I own a first generation Coupe and I love it. The car has been christened as the 'Korean Ferrari' that despite my undying love for the car is a complete waste. The curves are quite beautiful, but not Ferrari and performance and the difference in price in this regard. What this car however, is to feel special. The headlights look like drops of tears, the hood has two bumps much like a Porsche 911 and the sides taper grace backlight groups hiding under a spoiler that could easily be a sculpture in its own right.
1.6 Engine Range liters to 2 liters, although the car to look for is the limited edition Evolution F2 has a extra 17bhp pushed by the 2-liter, resulting in 155bhp. The F2 is still evolving nicer than the standard car, with larger wheels, front bumper, rear spoiler and exhaust oval racing. It was designed by Peter Stevens, who designed McLaren's Formula One cars of the mid-90s and the super car of the same name and Hyundai World Rally Team Championship.
As standard you get, well everything really: leather seats, air conditioning, cruise control, ABS, a lot of bits and power moved a CD player. All derivatives have an exceptional management, with the car stuck to the road like glue no matter how hard to push it. This is the main criticism of the Coupe – the lack of power, as the chassis can easily handle more.
The car is near bullet proof when it comes to reliability as well. Yes, it's a Korean car so that the material used for the interior are very cheap, but I challenge you to find a better management style and equipped car for the money. Oh, yes the cost is little, by far the best. Even if you locate one of the rare F2 Evolution 1500 versions still will not pay more than £ 3000, with a bog standard version 1.6 EUR 2000 liters tapas.
There is a well known ad that says they are doing what they really want is priceless. The reality is that it will cost between £ 2000 and £ 3000.
