Dumbbell Preacher Curl.! shotra biceps!?

My biceps r really short, there is a difference between my arms and biceps head / heading. My gym trainer told me not to do curls cencentrate (cause that may shorten my biceps). However, dumbbell preacher curl are preety much same concentration curls. So should I stop dong preacher dumbbell curl? O is the same as normal preacher curl?

Make sure you always go through the full range of motion. Be sure to always have bar / dumbell entire way.
