We need to the tip of the shaft of it as an iron. If you want to do the same as a 1, 2 or 3 iron tip is 1 inch. To do the same that 4 iron tip is 1.5 inches. Add half an inch for every club, we went down the whole. ie 5-iron 2 inch, 6 iron 2.5 inch, 7-iron from 3 inches to a maximum of 4.5 inches. Hope this helps.
