Originating in Thailand, Muay Thai is a popular sport in many countries of the East. Surprisingly, which began as a Martial Art known as Krabi Krabong (a Siamese martial art) in which weapons were used. This is very strange, considering that in the modern Muay Thai, weapons are not used at all. Krabi Krabong students, however, the use of similar hand to hand combat techniques after they or their opponents have lost their weapons. This can be considered the true origin of Muay Thai.

Of course, with all Martial Arts, time and different generations have an effect in a particular art and often will evolve or change with the world around them. Krabi Krabong soon became the ancient Muay Boran, a martial art of Muay Thai close as it is known today. Again, over time, Muay Boran, a more evolved and split into four different art forms for different regions North, Northeast and South Central Region and is called Muay ThaSao, Korat, Lobburee, and Chaiya.

Each of these different forms emphasized a particular technique or philosophy for the Central (Muay Lobburee) took smart and quick movements of the heart, while the South (Muay Chaiya) preferred to emphasize the student's defense techniques and correct posture. El Norte (Muay ThaSao) attributed more importance on speed and kicking, though each of these groups and use different teaching symbolize, movements and philosophies, modern Muay Thai covers almost all of them as one.

Also at its roots, Muay From Thailand is considered a form of entertainment to be performed by players in homes and the kingdoms of the monarchy in Thailand. The most famous of the stories that belong to the history of Muay Thai involves a Teacher by the name of Nai Khanomtom. During a meeting with a Martial Artist from Burma, Nai Khanomtom did his best for the king at that time the king Mangra. He began the match by a strange war-like dance that disoriented and confused that the Burmese opponent to defeat Khanomtom Nai allow fairly quickly.

Unfortunately, the mediator of dance party decided that the focus shifted from hunting in Burma and the movement was considered out of bounds and therefore count for nothing. King Mangra without however, was impressed and asked him to fight nine more Khanomtom Nai Opponents of Burma to prove himself. Of course, Nai Khanomtom fought and won against each and every one of the Burmese opposition, impressing Mangra King and, in turn, purchase their own freedom.

Nai Khanomtom also received a National Day Boxer (17 March) in which their actions would be remembered by the community of Thailand. It is rare that a martial art would have a story so enchanting. It's a shame that Muay Thai is no more popular among other countries, however, can quickly be won international popularity and recognition soon. While it is true that Muay Thai has had his hand in contributions to many martial arts that are, in fact, well known in other countries, such as kickboxing and Mixed Martial Arts.

When Samor is badly injured, Piak and Pao continue to train under Tew until Tew and Krang are recruited by a high profile Bangkok gym. Unable to resist the call of the capitol and largest city in Thailand, Piak, Pao, and Samor decide to travel to Bangkok as well, bringing a nurse named Sripai along to look after their injured friend.
