In 2005 the film director Christopher Nolan brought Batman back to the big screen in the critically acclaimed film Batman Begins. This was the first time a film Batman had received widespread critical acclaim in almost ten years, and with good reason.

Many fans of comics and movie fans not only were less than satisfied with the previous Batman film Batman and Robin, were the right of the offended. The fans do not appreciate Joel Schumacher's vision of a smiling George Clooney as the Dark Knight.

Batman Begins gave fans a realistic view of how Batman could exist in the real world. It brought us a story about justice, revenge, obsession and fear. We were told it would lead a man to dedicate his life to wearing a costume and fighting crime. There was the first detailed account of how Bruce Wayne became Batman.

The fans all he said against the film was the lack of a number of Batman's nemesis. The Joker. The Joker is considered by many fans as the polar opposite of Batman. Where the struggle for the order of Batman, The Joker thrives on chaos. When Batman is about saving lives, the Joker kills with a smile.

For this reason, when in 2006, fans were delighted when the story broke that Heath Ledger portrays the clown prince of crime. Some Fans, however, were skeptical as to whether or not there was sufficient qualities unstable to play its part.

All that the director and actor who could do was give a smile and say trust me. It took several months until the fans were offered a challenge for Warner Brothers Studios. The challenge was for the fans to go to a viral website and adding one pixel on the page by a code.

Eventually enough people visited and contributed to the site until at last the first Heath Ledger's image in the character was revealed. Then, not long after the picture was revealed, a teaser trailer was released it presented visually for the film.

Only dialogue. When asked about these decisions in secret, the only response was Christopher Nolan If it were me, knew nothing of the film until its release.

With the history that was kept strictly secret, fanboys and fangirls are practically foaming at the mouth of the film to be released. The film promises to be one of the best 2008 summer movie releases.
