That Martial Arts helps me physically and mentally?
You need all kinds of answers but the most serious of all. To make a long story short I was robbed a while ago. I have not really been the same since then, so they feel safe. I purchased a firearm for home and this helps some. Most of all they want feel safe anywhere. Recently I was in a public place with my bike next to my vehicle when two tough-looking dudes came and parked next to me. Nothing happened, of course, but my mind was on high alert. In his view, would help the martial arts I feel comfortable or able to handle most situations?
IF your martial arts class includes specific training to deal with emotions like yours, then the answer is yes. If you spend 3 years patterns learning, breaking boards, and "taking" which will remember all that in a fight, no. Your weapon will not help you if you are paralyzed by fear, that happens. You might have a gun in his hands, a Jiu Jitsu Black Belt around the waist, and drive a tank, but if you panic, all is lost. Make sure that his training has a very emotional component, and trains that use high-pressure exercises, and you learn to use that energy.
