Digital Design: Connecting a magnitude comparator and counter?
Im using a magnitude and a 74'85 comaprator counter 74'193. Is it OK if I connect the output of 74'85, as the clock input of 74'193? Basically, my job is if I connect circuit combined output circuit as the clock input? (or should always be a sequence of the 555 Timer circuit or chip?) please notify
A clock pulse should be a short transition high, low (or vice versa) so that if the output of the comparator remains high for long, must be distinguished. You can do this or a 2-input NAND gate (depending on the polarity of the clock), an input of the gate in the comparison, a small capacitor (<1000 pF) between Inputs 1 and 2, a resistance of 10k input port 2 of land, and to offset the output of the gateway clock. When the comparator output goes higher gate inputs 1 and 2 are high (the capacitor is discharged) after the capacitor is charged through the resistance, input 2 goes low. Can control the duration of the clock pulse by adjusting R and C. Now if the comparison results are used for Cu and Cd the counter, then you can have a generator separate clock is running and applies to the fight against the clock in the CDP.
