Do you think there a good possibly could be accepted into the U.S. Air Force Academy? I am a sophomore in school secondary [I am a year earlier], I am educated at home, I have a 4.0 GPA, am taking college [also known as Honors Program] in school community [because my school does not have an honors program], have vision problems run OK, and take keichu-do [a form of karate, I'm at the level intermediate]. I'm thinking of joining the Civil Air Patrol Cadet Program. How much does the CAP Cadet program? Would it improve my chances of being accepted? Thanks unanswered. Furthermore, any suggestion to help my chances of acceptance, plus a recommendation from a congressman or senator? Thank you.
Yes, CAP can help. In fact, its listed on the application for admission as an extracurricular activity. I was discharged at West Point for training due to a disqualification care, so think carefully when completing the medical paper.
