Sai Karate

A Martial Art and health system with an underlying Taoist philosophy, Taiji (sometimes written as Tai Chi) is practiced by millions in China and around the world. It is characterized by slow, fluid and elegant, which conform to the Taoist notion of naturalism.
Health Benefits
In China, art is seen as a way to restore health or cure disease and a form of socialization, especially for older people.
Although the origin exactly this martial art are not clear, is a widespread belief that the original 13 postures of Taiji were invented by Taoist master Chang San Feng, who lived in the famous Wudang Mountain, a center for the study and practice of Taoist arts. It is said that the teacher took refuge in Wudang while being pursued by bandits and in a dream one night, he learned the method of Taiji. Shorinji Kempo

Learn art
Normally, classes emphasize the three main aspects of Taiji, which are health, education, and martial arts. The positions and the degree of concentration that requires the exercise of the movements properly regulate blood pressure and develops Muscle Strength, coordination and balance to a greater extent than when the movements are promptly implemented. Moreover, each action should be viewed, which enhances strategic thinking.
An important feature of this style martial art is its aspect of self-defense. The student is taught how to divert and change the direction of the strength of their opponents, rather than directly opposing force in the head.
The daily practice of moving slowly in a circular joints helpful to their mobility, while the qi-built building movements on the form are relaxing and refreshing.
