Shoes Shaolin

People are always impressed when they learn that I am a Martial Arts instructor. Unfortunately, the reality people do not care impressive. This is a cruel trick, because if I impressed enough to teach, but I do not care to impress them.
When I started studying martial arts, this was long ago and I was very taken by these fast-moving ninjas in pajamas, but what kept me going was that I spoke. I mean the people who were tough, focused, and yet took the time to sit and laugh and joke with a young boy. I will always remember this, since the early days, and try to make it part of my behavior.
Now, that said, there are four reasons why they teach martial arts. I am speaking from the standpoint of the instructor here, so you'll probably find what I I say a little different from what one would expect. However, you may find my reasons enlightening.
One of them, I teach by the power that gives me. The thing is, I'm not talking about power over people, I talk about the power I feel with the health of my body and clarity of my thinking. While peers grow old and fat, walkers and the use of oxygen tanks, can not even bend over to tie his shoes, climb stairs, eat what I want, and I am very active today with me for forty years years, when I was only 19.
Secondly, when I teach my empty. Now this is really something when you teach someone, if I been faithful in my statement, then I suddenly empty, and in that vacuum to learn things. It's almost as if he had pushed a book from a table, so no room for another book that is placed on the table, except we are talking about knowledge being pushed out of mind here.
Three, I teach so I can go myself. I am not the attacker or defender, but I am both, outside, and this gives me a perspective that is almost completely unknown in Western society. Simply no practice, including education, in Western society, which gives this view.
Four, I teach so that I can relate to the world of more realistically. I see many people who are full of talk, but do not really see the world, and certainly can not communicate about the real world. Teaching martial arts develops a commitment to a deeper level of communication, an intuitive type of communication, a communication that Zen is much more natural to life and existence.
So there it is. Not All Martial arts instructors that my same reasons, but rest assured that they have similar reasons in scope and magnitude. Always know that if someone teaches the beauty and exquisite arches and forms of Shaolin, or internal energy Wudan inspiring, or are difficult to Krav Maga combat oriented, or just the fun and sportsmanship sweat-soaked as one might find in the Mixed Martial arts, there is a depth of personality being carried out and that would not hurt you to pursue a similar manner.
