Please help with sparring?
when sparring with flak jackets and helmets when hitting me makes me dizzy and I lose all my destination if you know what I mean. also when unarmed combat, which tend to shrug off hits and focus mainly on the legs. any tips to stop getting so sick and leave shrug of hits. I've never had a problem before with my legs, but I do now thanks Bluto! on your right in the chest a little arnour except that covered the torso and the hull had a Guad on the face, sorry for the confusion! I'm not really a new start Ive been going 3.5 years, but now trying to start things gaurds face and torso. I do not normally use it because it makes me uncomfortable I'm not really a new start Ive been going 3.5 years now, but just started trying things face gaurds and torso. This is probably going to sound really bad, but …. not be beaten. Seriously, why you feel dizzy it is because of being beaten over the head is supposed to make you dizzy. If you do not have that Head Guard, who wakes up in the ground! That is what is the Teaching Martial Arts to do to put someone on the floor, if necessary. However, it also should be taught how to defend against that technique that is smacking in the head. Focus on your defense, not only slows but also departs from the techniques and turning himself away from them. Simply twist the torso and / or head of a kick or punch will diminish its effect on you, is called "material" to the punch. If you get beaten, you have to consciously try to return to refocus itself as quickly as possible. If your computer has a body "in situ" in it-a target area in red or black, usually in the same way. If not, try to focus on the crux of your opponent's belt, or just your hips. Find something to focus on other than vertigo. As to shrug away … which is a natural reaction of many new students. Most people running away from contact. It's probably worse for you because now you know that being beaten dizzy equals. You need to know that contact with the light of equipment not labeled without cause dizziness. You should have no more than a slap. The same is true for your opponents-which will not hurt them if you are using a good control. Do not worry about striking again, just use the control and go for it. In general, you should work defense movement and blocking. This will help you gain confidence and stop being beaten so often. Hope this helps … Sensei Cox
