Do you have a recipe for Thai chicken with basil and chili?
In Thai restaurants always order Thai chicken with basil and chili, but I have never worked with him for what I can do at home?
Servings: 2 Ingredients 1 lb. skinless, boneless chicken cut into fingers of breast size cubes 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1 tablespoon minced garlic 1 tablespoon chopped sweet red pepper – (serrano or jalapeno) 2 tbsp fish sauce (nam pla or nuoc mam, available in oriental markets) 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce 1 tablespoon water 1 tablespoon sugar 1 1 / 2 cup fresh basil 1 medium red Thai pepper fresh – cut into thin strips 1 medium carrot – cut into thin strips I NSTRUCTIONS Cut chicken into cubes the size of the nails – Set aside Chop garlic – set aside. Mince chile — Set aside Cut the pepper and carrots into thin strips. Mix fish sauce, soy sauce and water, set aside. Measure sugar, set aside. Wok or saucepan heat medium-high heat. Add oil and swirl to cover the pan. Drop a piece of garlic in the pan, if it burns immediately, the oil is ready. Add the rest of garlic and stir briefly. Add the chopped peppers and stir until garlic begins to brown, 15 sec. Add diced chicken and stir fry until meat changes color, about 1 minute. Add the fish sauce mixture and stir-fry to combine well with meat, about 1 minute. Add sugar and stir-fry another 30 seconds. Add the basil and bell pepper and sliced carrots and toss. Stir fry until the basil begins to wilt.
