Can the onset of type 1 diabetes is caused by a blow to the body, such as contact karate?

Looking for a possible cause of the sudden in the set Type 1 diabetes in a teenage girl.

Possibly, but only if the blow was particularly severe (such as having to go to the emergency room then and in that case, doctors have been kept in hospital because of injury). So, while possible, is very unlikely. Much more likely (99%) that diabetes is now under development. Type 1 can develop suddenly, in many cases, and in other cases, rather than suddenly becomes noticeable after weeks or months symptoms of loss. Type 1 may be caused by things other than autoimmunity, including genetics, extreme stress, hunger, chemically induced (such as exposure to toxic substances or the use of anesthesia during surgery in some people) and serious injuries (for respondents who can not seem to accept that). For most common cause seems to autoimmunity, but not the only cause.
