Karate Nunchaku

Karate is a Martial Art developed in Japanese territory known as the Ryukyu Islands. Includes punching, kicking, knee and elbow strikes and open hand techniques. Karate students can also learn the grappling techniques, arm locks, throws, and strikes extent depending on the school or style they study.
Karate began as a fighting system ti.After referred to as "commercial contacts were established with the Ming dynasty of China by King of Chuzan Satto; century 14 to end, various forms of Chinese Martial arts were slowly introduced to the Ryukyu Islands by visitors from China.
A group of families from China moved to Okinawa near the end of the 14th century and created the Kumemura community and shared their knowledge of a wide variety of Chinese arts and sciences, including the arts Chinese martial.
The centralization of governance and authority in Okinawa by King ShōHashi in the first half of the 15th century and the prohibition of Enforced weapons in Okinawa after the invasion of the Shimazu clan, were also factors that furthered the development of systems of unarmed combat in Okinawa.
Each teacher taught a kata in particular and the different techniques and principles that distinguish the local version of the others.
Adoption empty-handed from Chinese Wu Shu Okinawa in combat arts transcended most likely due to cultural and political exchanges. Additional influence came from Southeast Asian regions of Sumatra, Java, and Melaka. Many Okinawan weapons such as the sai, tonfa, nunchaku and probably originated in and around Southeast Asia.
Kanga Sakukawa had studied combat personnel in China. In 1806 he began teaching art in a fight Shuri that he called "Tudi Sakukawa. This was the first written reference to learn the art of "Tudi. Most significant about the 1820 student Sakukawa Matsumura Sokon than lived up to the end of 19th century taught a synthesis of te and Shaolin styles. Matsumura style and techniques eventually become the Shorin;-Ryu Karate style.
Gichin Funakoshi, founder of Shotokan karate, is generally credited with having popularized karate on the Japanese territory but spread is more likely that people Okinawa by many who were actively teaching, and therefore are equally responsible for the popularization of karate.
Funakoshi was a student both Anko Asato and Anko Itosu who had worked to introduce karate to the School of the Okinawa Prefecture of the system. During this period, prominent professors who also influenced the spread of karate in Japan, including Kenwa Mabuni, Chojun Miyagi, Choki Motobu, Kanken Toyama, and Kanbun Uechi.
