Target Karate
Although widely practiced in Japan, the art of Karate was introduced today in the country less than fifty years by Funakoshi Gichin.
Actually, the art of Karate can be traced to the ancient Chinese art of Kempo. Legend has it that Kempo originated during the Liang dynasty, when a Buddhist monk, taught Taishi this art to the monks in the Shaolin Monastery-Szu as a means of defense against aggressors militants and as a way of building his weakened physical condition.
Taishi preached that for true understanding of religion, body and soul must be strong and inseparable, and that in a weakened physical condition necessary religious practices not could be adequately performed. Over time, these monks became so powerful disarmed combatants that people from all over China came to study in their monastery in order to learn the art of defense without weapons.
Around 1600 AD, the Chinese, who occupied Okinawa Kempo introduced his art to the people of Okinawa, which combined with its native form of unarmed combat, which in later years became karate.
When he was finally introduced to Japan Karate, very quickly became popular and gained a tremendous following and interest. In years later was perfected in what is now known as the Japanese style of Karate.
Karate striking techniques
The underlying principle behind the technique is surprisingly accurate we must deliver the maximum concentration of force around the body through the hitting area in the Target Zone. Unlike a gun, knife or club, the highlight is the real weapon of a man who practices karate. No you can buy at the store, but must be conditioned through practice and training.
