How can I stop my knuckle bleeding and bruising when hitting the sack? ?

I fought for a brief period in high school, only for about six months or less. Anyway, I went and bought a Heavy Bag to practice and just having a good time, and my knuckles are killing me. I bought UFC style fighting gloves to use as Bag Gloves, I wonder if perhaps I need tape as well? My knuckles callas? Do I need more equipment? I'm hitting the bag too hard?

I would get some Boxing Gloves and bag invest in a good pair, so I advise you not to go to your local sports, as often sell cheap junk. Also, buy a pair of belts and learn to put them in correctly. Many people just wrap their hands with them, but there is a right way to protecting them in their hands. The following is conditioning … you just have to put up your fists … I say they are hitting the bag too hard, but you could be hitting the bag wrong. Best of luck.
