Thai Boxing
Boxing is a fighting technique that has been naturally slim and refined in Different Ways
Stamped with fists and kicked with feet Naturally, if untrained fighters fight each other. Add several tactics such as elbowing, kneeing, biting and butting heads, and has a routine control complete. Many of them are in fact some elements of styles like Thai Boxing or Muay Thai boxing.
When boxing becomes a discipline training techniques have been refined so that their efficiency is improved and adapted to different combat situations. In particular, training can help improve fight against enemy combatants and increase the impact of their own blows, kicks and other attacks.
Boxing has therefore been developed in systems concluded with the coding practices in different regions of the world. In addition to Muay Thai, other systems such as Burmese Boxing, French Boxing and modern Western boxing.
Muay Thai or Thai Boxing
The process of refining techniques can be illustrated by looking some of the practices of Muay Thai. In this system of boxing, using his feet to kick has been abandoned in favor of kicking with the shin. The feet contain many bones fragile that it can break easily if used to boot. Shin, but are very sensitive to an untrained person, can be converted into a formidable weapon through training. Thai Boxing also minimizes hand drilling in the opponent's body, but concentrated in the head. The theory is that when it comes to blow his head is exposed to attack from the opponent's elbows and knees.
Muay Thai is a large use of the hands, shins, elbows and knees, and is known as the art of eight limbs. In traditional style, an industry session, the head was also used. Other techniques of Muay Thai fighting include:
- Kicking with the shin,
- Different types of elbows,
- Skip, fly and strikes the knee straight
- Clinching the opponent's head, while striking the knee and
- Approaches to throw the opponent out standing balance
Defensive techniques include blocking, redirection, avoidance, evasion, disruption and anticipation.
Modern Boxing
Western Boxing, with its focus on reducing boxing rules based on the sport and minimize injuries is what we call modern boxing. It originated in the Greek Olympics in the pre-Christian era. Damage to the Greek era boxing was different from what is known as boxing modern, serious and common era.
Modern boxing places considerable attention on minimizing such serious injuries. Heavy gloves must be worn by the contestants, and only hits gloved fists are allowed in combat. No elbowing, kneeing, head butting or biting allowed. Officials can stop the fight if one contestant is deemed unable to continue the fight.
The rules of modern boxing are:
- Using three-minute "rounds" of the fight with one minute rest between each round of
- The use of "corners" where the boxer can rest during the holidays, and may receive help and advice Coach and Assistants
- Prohibition of certain types of attacks, such as hitting below the belt, holding the opponent, while striking and shoving, etc. above kneeing
- Three methods of deciding a winner, viz. Knockout when one wrestler touches the ground the ring to the count of ten, Technical knockout when the referee determines that one of the contestants can not continue the fight and referee's decision or unless judges points or occurs Technical Knockout Knockout
- The use of an arbitrator, who oversees the fight working closely within the ring, ring and judges who score points for each boxer
Modern boxing also ensures that only combatants similar weights correspond each other. Even in this case, if the proof that the fight against the fighters are seriously mismatched, the referee may stop the fight. Amateur boxers are also required to wear helmets while fighting.
Modern Boxing is thus very different from the traditional wrestling which allows all types of attacks such as kneeing, elbowing, biting and butting heads. However, many of these elements can be seen in other styles such as boxing Thai boxing. Even in these cases, the rules have been minimized their lethality in a manner that contestants not maimed or killed.

Muay Thai Fighter (DVD) $21.62 Childhood friendships are put to the ultimate test when a talented emerging fighter faces off against a top underworld boxer in ART OF THE DEVIL 2 director Kongkiat Komesiri`s action-packed fight flick. As young boys growing up in Chaiya, Surat Thani Province, Piak, Pao, and Samor all trained under Pao`s brother Krang (Prawit Kittichanthira, a legendary muay Thai fighter who had in turn been trained by his own father Tew (Samart Payakaroon). When Samor is badly injured, Piak and Pao continue to train under Tew until Tew and Krang are recruited by a high profile Bangkok gym. Unable to resist the call of the capitol and largest city in Thailand, Piak, Pao, and Samor decide to travel to Bangkok as well, bringing a nurse named Sripai along to look after their injured friend. Though Sripai is engaged to Piak, Pao harbors a secret affection for the girl that he doesn`t dare mention to his friends. At first it seemed that Piak was set to take the fighting world by storm, but after his quick temper gets him banned from the sport he is forced to enter the brutal world of illegal, bare-knuckle boxing. Later, he and Samor go to work in an underworld go-go bar where Piak enters into a sordid affair with sensual dancer Warn. Before long, Pao has worked his way up through the ranks to become a famous fighter in Bangkok, his upcoming match against feared brawler Diamond Sullivan becoming the hottest ticket in town. But Sullivan is on the underworld payroll, pitting Pao directly at odds with his old pals Piak and Samor. By now Piak`s relationship with Sripan has ended, and Sripan has moved in with Pao. When Piak`s boss is killed in a deadly play for power, the hot headed brawler takes over as head of the family. Meanwhile, as Diamond pummels Pao in the ring, the brutalized boxer thinks back to happier times in an attempt to summon the strength needed to win the fight. |
