Is it better to Lose Weight slowly or quickly?

I'm 5'3 ", 25 women. Sooo used to lose weight quickly. But then again time, consumes only 900 cal / day and twice daily exersize. He was very thin, not anorexic. But now that I'm older and have a full time job and boyfriend (I eat full meals with) is much harder to get my slim figure back. It is impossible to lose weight as it used to. So now I am eating between 1200-1300 CAL exersizing a day and 4 times a week. But the weight is taking so long to come out and is depressing. Is this better in the long run? Or should I take more drastic measures to lose weight? So … Why is losing weight rapidly BAD? Thank you!

It is curious that you did not mention how much you weigh now! Nevertheless, it is better to diet slowly so your body adjusts over time. While you keep a proper diet and regular exercise, you will lose weight. Try to weigh yourself only once or twice a month. In this way, you will see more positive results, and is not stressing about it as much. BTW, a 900 calories per day diet would starve a hamster, so do not ever do that again! You should consult your doctor to make sure that you are healthy enough diet, let alone have a need.
