What is the curved edge of an ironing board for?
Hello. I'm trying to learn to iron … for college (and I have not done an ounce of chores before). An ironing board (and ours at least) has a "curved end to side (opposite of the thing from metal rail). What is that? I assumed it was for the pant legs, but the pant legs are much smaller than the ironing board. Also, if you are destined to put a foot iron, when in his but not ironing (for example, by moving the pants for the next patch), then why is there a metal rail thing? Sorry if sounds a bit naive!
