Both OctiveTech 300BH and 300IH Hand Held pulse oximeter be able to Pulse Rate and SpO2 download data stored on the drive to a computer for detailed analysis.

The data transfer procedure is quite simple. The 5 following minutes installation guide is provided to walk users through the installation procedure.

1. System Requirements
   • Computer IBM-compatible
   • Windows 2000 or XP
   • 2 USB ports available
   • 1 CD
   • Must have system administrator privileges to install.

2. Installation Procedure
   • Stop! The order is important! You need to install the data transfer and analysis software first. then install dogkey USB Dongle driver, and install the unit USB data cable in the last step.

3. Installation of data transfer and analysis software
   • Stop! Do not connect the USB data cable or USB dongle dogkey to your computer before installation.
   • Insert the CD into the CD drive in Under Windows 2000 or XP, the installation interface appears automatically started. MedView Select Install Software Version: 1.3.5 option as shown below.
   • Click on the "Next" to go the next step.
   • Click click on Yes to accept the license.
   • Click the "Next" button to install the software on the default path.
   • We strongly recommend that you choose "Typical" installation option, and will be installed most components with fewer complications. Then click the next button to go the next step.
   • Click the "Next" button to choose the default program folder. You can rename as you like.
   • Now, you are in the final confirmation window. You can choose the "Next" to start the installation, or choose "Back" to change previous building. If you decide to cancel the installation process, you can choose "Cancel" to exit the installation.
   • Installation in progress. Please do not click "Cancel" button if you want to cancel installation.
   • Click the "Finish" button to complete the installation for the transfer of data and analysis software.

4. Install USB Dongle Driver Dogkey
   • Stop! Do not connect the USB data cable or USB dongle dogkey to your computer before installation.
   • Click "Install DogKey Driver Version: 4.0 "to install the driver DogKey
   • Click "Install Driver" button at the bottom left of the interface to install the USB dongle dogkey.
   • Once the driver is installed correctly, a message "The driver has been successfully installed "message is displayed on the driver's area of state at the center of the window. Click the" Exit "button to complete the installation and the output window.

5. Installing USB Data Cable Driver
   • Stop! Do not connect the USB data cable or USB dongle dogkey to your computer before installation.
   • Click "Install-driver" to install the USB Data Cable Driver
   • Click the "Next" button to start the installation.
   • Select "I am license agreement "and click on the" Next "to continue installation.
   • Click the "Next" button to install the driver by default path is "C: siLabsMCUCP210x.
   • Click the "Install" button to copy the software on your computer's hard disk. You can choose to set the previous configuration.
   • Installation in progress. Please do not click on "Cancel" button if you want to cancel installation.
   • Installing USB data cable drivers made.

6. Test Installation
   • Stop! Now you can connect USB dongle dogkey, pulse oximeter via a USB data cable your PC. But please turn off the oximeter before logging into the computer.
   • Once you connect the oximeter and dogkey to your computer, go to "Panel Control "->" Administrative Tools "->" Device Manager "
   • If you have installed USB dogkey dongle successfully, you can find "MicroDog USB Device" as follows
   • If the data cable was installed correctly, you can find "CP210x USB to UART Bridge Controller" in the following way.

7. Data Transfer configuration and analysis software
   • Ok. Now you can turn on the oximeter data transfer
   • Open MedView data transfer and analysis software. Click the Options menu and choose "COM Setup" option. Leave "Port com "without changing the option in the popup window, set at 9600 baud for OctiveTech 300BH pulse oximeter and 11,520 for OctiveTech 300IH pulse oximeter.
   • Congratulations! You're all set. Once you transfer data to your computer, you can perform detailed analysis using the computer.

8. Troubleshooting
   • Make sure you have administrator privileges to install system software and drivers.
   • Make sure that USB dongle and dogkey pulse oximeter is connected to your computer.
   • Make sure you do oximeter pulse has some records.
   • Make sure pulse oximeter is ON.
   • If your computer still can not recognizae the dogkey and data cable as shown in step 6 "Verify Installation", or shows something like the following screenshot
   • There is to go to "Control Panel" -> "Install New Hardware" and start the installation wizard as shown below.
   • Go to the path as shown in the following window and reinstall the driver. After this, restart the computer to solve the problem.
