Digital Photography Secrets revealed all the secrets of professional picture-taking to its essence. One of the best, if not the best "How-To" books on photography I've seen. Well written and very easy to understand book on how to "get" better pictures. Every aspect of photography is covered with well explained the details of each photo included. If you are serious about "doing" best photographs, this book is essential reading.
Each page has a suggestion on how to improve their images – for better composition, better awareness, improve workflow, the recommendations for changes, improved exposure, focus, and the list goes on. I can honestly say I've learned something from every page of the secrets of digital photography and I found the perfect photo to accompany each page very helpful in strengthening each page "secret".
However, I discovered a real treasure. This is a great book on photography and digital photography in general. David goes to great links to share with you their secrets on how many items to photograph. This is a book to be used over and over time.
If you are looking for a magician revealing his secrets, this book is not for you. On the other hand, if you are looking for clear, concise, practical and easy understand the steps to take better photos – this is the book you want! Digital Photography Secrets
After reading each page, I look forward to grab my camera and try out the suggestions of David.
I recommend Digital Photography Secrets! It is conveniently divided into sections so clear people like photographs, drawings, landscape, etc. for you to jump into any area that the interests of the majority. It reads fast, but I was learning a lot and thinking about the practical applications so many, I would definitely need to revisit areas. Each page is devoted to a point of education or the idea, together with a wonderful image as an example.
Lessons from David in this book are clear, precise and easy to understand. The tables really helped us to understand the points better. In recent chapters I enjoyed your discussions on travel, children's photography, visualization, etc.
