I was recently asked this question:

"How can I stay in an Exercise Program, even if I'm not seeing results right away?"

This is what I replied:

By "results" I guess that would mean losing weight. But remember that you can gain muscle and lose fat. So, although the scale does not change much, the composition of your body does. And ultimately, that's what the game is all about …

Please have measured the amount of fat you have before you start your Weight Loss program, the scale can be very misleading. Sometimes, just seeing how clothes fit you can be a much more accurate to see your progress …

Are you getting stronger and has more resistance each workout? If yes, then you're in the right direction and are already getting "results".

You can not improve what you can not measure. The mirror can be deceiving. Put things on paper. Enter your fat percentage and how much you weigh. Cold numbers do not lie.

Your mind can play with you – especially during a program of weight loss. But you will do the smart thing and take into account things (something I never 95% of the people – so I never Lose Weight and quit after one week).

Try to measure your weight and fat percentage, for example once a week. Doing it in the morning on an empty stomach. You can see who has lost only " bit "fat and has won only" a little "muscle. But Rome was not built in a day. The way to climb a mountain is one step at a time.

There is much to say about consistency and there is strength in numbers. Small improvements add up over time with tremendous results. It is what the Japanese call "Kaizen" …
