Bodybuilders please?
I am 17 and I've just bought a set of weights York. 6 plates of 10 pounds, 6 plates, 5 pounds, 4 plates of 2.5 pounds, 2 bars and a barbell bar. The problem is that I do not know how to get started. I do not know what exercises to do in the first place and the time to start lifting weights major. How long should I train each day? There are no instructions, not just a piece of paper tells me how to put the plate on the bars. I want to build my forearms, biceps, shoulders and chest. Can you help? Is there any site that can guide me through the muscles to work individually and can give me information on when I switch to a heavier weight?
Its important that you do not go crazy from the start – thats a classic way of ending injury. Its good that you are aware of appropriate technical education, as is the technique that is even more important than the amount of weight you lift really. I lose account of the number of idiots I see in several gyms who think they are huge Weight Lifting, but his technique is so bad it would get more out of lift half the weight, but do it correctly. The effort to lift the weight must be isolated from the muscles you're aiming for and isolate them so they do not cheat 'swinging' weights or using momentum to lift the weight to Build Muscle you need to do at least 6 repetitions of each exercise, but should not be able to do something more than 12 or 13 – if you can do better than this, then the weight is too light, if you can not make 6 correct then the weight is too – but do not cheat! The Web sites listed in the other answers are good, but I recommend that you subscribe to a magazine called 'Flex' – you can order or buy from WH Smith.
