What are the advantages of the Garmin Forerunner 305 on the 205?
A runner and I run a team. They are the only 2 Advantages of the 305 on the 205, compatibility with a Heart Rate Monitor and Foot Pod accessory? As always run outdoors do not believe the foot pod, will be of some use. As I that prior to running a team so they can not stop or speed up during training. Does the heart Rate Monitor then be of some use to me? Please, let me know if there's something I'm missing in terms of differences between the two. Thank you.
The 305 comes with heart rate monitor and is compatible with the cadence sensor (for biking) and the sheath of the feet. The 205 can not have none of it added later. Even if you do not run inside the sheath foot may be useful outdoors to keep your cadence and many still use one for that. Many who make the 205 thinking that do not need or want a Heart Monitor usually expressed later wishing they had done the 305 instead of getting one. The 305 is more popular and widely identified, and more likely to lie in a reduction significant. Given what you would pay something like $ 10-20 more these days to get additional features, such as human resource monitor, chances are better in the long term with the 305. And yes, the human resource monitor can be a useful tool to learn and use – is not speed up or slow down etc
